I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from IED Barcelona. As a British citizen who’s lived in Egypt, and studied abroad, I embrace different cultures and grab inspiration from them as well as having a wide perspective. As someone who is creative, technically minded and detail-oriented, I can easily design, develop and deliver unique high end results I am self-motivated, reliable, responsible and hard working. I thrive in a team-working environment and enjoy collaboration, as well as working by my own initiative. I am able to work well under pressure and abide by strict deadlines. Looking forward to breaking into the design world and seeking opportunity for work on highly innovative, functional spaces, embracing sustainability and creative aesthetic designs, give client presentations as well as building key relationships to grow a client base.

During my studies, I’ve learned many new skills which include but are not limited to new computer skills for the interior design field as well as having an artistic and creative touch. I’ve always been an artistic person from playing synchronized swimming for thirteen years which has taught me to be a team player and being collaborative as well as a disciplined hard worker, I was also able to manage my school work up to graduating with an IB diploma and playing an intense sport professionally and participating in national and international tournaments, this shows I’m able to manage my time and work well under pressure.

After graduating high-school, I knew the field I was interested in and gained experience by interning in an Architecture and Interior Design firm which only inspired me more and helped me develop new skills and learning about the work environment and working along designers, this experience aided in enhancing my collaboration abilities.

As a good team player who is open to working in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines, I can quickly create superb individual conceptual designs, work out costs and prepare estimates. On top of this I possess excellent communication skills and will be very comfortable liaising directly with clients.

I believe in having a balance, balancing career, family, health and social aspects. This works by time management and setting my own deadlines ahead of time in all aspects to be able to have enough time to do all the tasks at hand and giving each task or goal the time and dedication it deserves.

As someone who is creative, technically minded and has great attention to detail, I can easily design, develop and deliver unique high end results. I am very skilled at AutoCAD, 3D modeling visualization, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Hand sketching, lighting and color schemes.
